Bob Godby is an independent artist and graphic designer living in Nashville, TN. During his 45-year career, Bob has worked as a senior art director and started his own agency with clients from Boston to San Francisco.

 

Artist Statement

It is difficult to explain the first brush stroke as it touches the surface. The color alive and spreading in all directions. A loose control that can’t be tamed. An adrenaline rush that sparks all senses. A reason for being. To capture form in an evolving process with a palette of a few watercolors and brushes.
